Queensland Government GetInvolved online consultation toolkit is a suite of online community engagement tools freely available to Queensland Government agencies. It is designed for capturing and reporting community feedback on public policy, but can also be used for internal feedback. GetInvolved delivers over 100 policy consultations a year and the consultation tools are continually improving to meet the needs of Government and the community.
Regional social media is an excellent way to monitor what issues that are becoming topical in rural and regional communities, gauge public sentiment about particular issues, raise awareness about opportunities to influence government decision making on an issue and encourage responses through official channels.
